Antler Creek K9
We believe in the humane treatment of our K9
companions, not humanizing the noble,
bone-chewing, stick-chasing, people-rescuing,
life-enriching and endlessly loyal creatures that we
simply call DOG.
We believe in training methods that encourage
learning and mutual trust.
K9 learning should never be painful or scary to
either K9 or human.
We believe in responsible K9 ownership:
Humans need to teach our K9 companions life skills
so they are welcomed into the human world,
wherever that trail may lead them.
"In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be
semi-human. The point is to open oneself to the possibility
of becoming partly a dog."
Edward Hoagland
The Antler Creek K9 Pack
Antler Creek K9 is owned and managed by
Certified Master Dog Trainer Juli Wilson.
As a youngster, Juli was raised around the working
dogs of the Vancouver City Police Department.
Her parents helped raise and train the dogs, then
worked with the handlers to ensure great K9 teams
for the department.
Her expertise in the area of training people came
quickly as she coached swimming, taught life
guarding skills,  trained people to drive
motorcoaches, eventually spending seven years in
Alaska as a Safety and Training Manager for a large
tour company.
While in Alaska she began volunteering with the
local Search and Rescue team, eventually training
her own dog Loki, who became certified in
tracking, article searching and cadaver scent work.
Putting her experiences and knowledge to the test,
she attended Canada West Canine Center in Salmon
Arm British Columbia, where she studied and
became a Certified Master Dog Trainer.

Juli now resides in Manitoba with her husband
Chad, and two K9's; their Search dog Loki, and
their adopted addition Max.  This is Juli's full time
profession, and in addition to helping others with
their K9 companions, Juli and Chad foster puppies
for the Humane society, and raise and train choice
puppies for exacting clients.
